How does it come togeather
All data from the Davis Vantage Pro by direct RF from the sensors to the Meteobridge Pro
All data is received from the Ecowitt WH57 thru the GW2000 Receiver to the Meteobridge Pro by network.
The Meteobridge Pro, uploads that data to the WS40 Template every 5 seconds. Which gives real time data on the web site.
All that Data is stored in a SQL database for history reference.
Who am I
I have been an avid weather enthusiast since early 2000. In 2005 I put up my first weather station on the web.
I spent 37 years in southwest Florida and monitored and endured though many Hurricanes.
I moved to Jonesboro Arkansas in February 2025. I have since become a registered spotter and monitor severe weather closely.
Not wanting to quit my hobby, I put a new website up to provide weather updates as best as I can for Jonesboro.
Back end Equipment
Most of my servers are Linux based. I run all my own backend rack servers in-house. All sites run in Vsphere virtual environments.
Weather Alerts that are provided on my site come directly from Openweather.org in real time. It is a very trusted source.
Other weather data comes from my personal sensors.
